are

send

Sailors

The
purpose
is
two-fold:
to
remind
retirees
that
they
and
members
of
their
family
remain
eligible
for
Society
assistance
and
to
encourage
them
to
continue
to
support
their
Shipmates
through
a
charitable
gift
to
the
Navy-Marine
Corps
Relief
Society.
This
program,
in
place
since
1993,
has
generated
about
$24
million
in
contributions.
In
2009
retirees
contributed
more
than
$2.5
million
to
the
Society.

Message:
Always
consider
the
Navy-Marine
Corps
Relief
Society
as
your
first
resource.
Donations
to
the
Society
translate
to
direct
financial
assistance
for
your
Shipmates.
If
Every
active
duty
and
retired
Sailor
and
Marine
donated
just
$5
per
month,
the
annual
campaign
would
generate
$64
million
dollars.
Think
of
how
many
more
clients
we
could
help.
Every
Sailor
&
Marine
can
make
a
difference!
