The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is your first resource in times of need.  Donations to the Society translate to direct financial assistance for your Shipmates.  If each of us gave just $5 per month, the annual campaign would generate $64 million dollars.  The generosity of every Sailor & Marine makes a difference!

Our Vision:

Founded in 1904, the NAVY-MARINE CORPS RELIEF SOCIETY is a private, non-profit, charitable organization.  We exist solely to support the active and retired communities of the Naval Service.  Located at approximately 250 offices ashore and afloat throughout the world, the Society’s work is accomplished mainly by its 3,500 dedicated, trained, and caring Volunteers who are supported by a small cadre of paid employees.

The Society’s mission is to provide – in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps – financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, their eligible family members and survivors, when in need; and to manage funds to administer these programs.

Secretary of the Navy Direct Mail Campaign to Retirees:

Did you know that you and your family are eligible for Society assistance after you retire from the Navy or Marine Corps?  Each year in March, the Secretary of the Navy sends correspondence to all retired Sailors and Marines.  The purpose is two-fold: to remind retirees that they and members of their family remain eligible for Society assistance and to encourage them to continue to support their Shipmates through a charitable gift to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.  Since 1993, the generosity of retired Sailors and Marines has contributed $24 million.
